It is similar to rolling but limited to sideways. You need to repeat this exercise for 30 seconds or a minute. This will help your eyes’ muscles lose the tension. Our eyes get stressed when we spend hours on a computer screen or mobile phone. If you want your eyes’ muscles to soothe, try this technique. 

Focusing on Thumb

This technique is about focusing on your thumb or index finger. You must keep your hand at a distance of around 30 cm in front of your face. Now, focus on your thumb and slowly bring your hand closer to your nose. After that, you must slowly take your thumb away from your face to its original position. Keep your focus on it, and it will strengthen your eyes’ muscles. Repeat this exercise for 30 seconds or a minute to improve your focus. Likewise, it will help you ease the pain in your eyes. You can try this technique when sitting alone or before sleeping. 

Distance Staring 

This last exercise is about maintaining focus by staring at objects near you. You need to stare at only one thing at a time. Start by staring at the farthest thing in your range. Stare it for around half a minute and shift to a closer something. Keep doing that until you reach the nearest thing in front of you. Per your endurance level, perform this eye yoga for a few minutes, like 2 to 4 minutes. After that, you will feel a lot better.

Wear shades when going out in sunny weather. They will protect them from UV rays, which can damage your eyes. This looks ordinary, but your eyes have to pay the price. Moreover, shades save them from wrinkles around the eyes.  

Keep the computer screen at a distance of 40 to 50 cm from the eyes, or they will damage your eyesight. This can also lead to eye dryness in rare cases when your eyes are exposed to bright light for hours. It happens when teens watch TV shows or use their smartphones in a dark room.

Eat carrots and green vegetables for healthy eyes. Raw vegetables will be better. This is not a myth but a fact. Your eyes need vitamins from green vegetables, especially carrots.
